What is different about Hill Country Mum Kits? We offer a high-quality, low-cost alternative for individuals, teams, friend groups, and moms to create memories while building Homecoming mums. By making it a DIY experience, we keep costs low. Additionally, we give back 10% to the community with every mum kit purchased.
How does ordering work?
- Choose your school.
- Select the type of kit you want.
Our order form will guide you through purchasing your mum or garter kit, detailing what is included and offering optional add-ons for an additional cost.
Hosting a mum-making party with 8+ people? Email us at hillcountrymumkits@gmail.com, and we’ll add your group to our website. This way, your friends can order directly from the site and receive a 10% discount. No need to collect money from the group—we'll handle everything through the site!
What is a Quick-Pick Kit?If you're short on time or prefer not to choose ribbons and trinkets, simply tell us your activities, and we’ll make the selections for you.
What if I am not crafty? If you want an affordable, quality mum with custom supplies but don’t have the time or patience to shop or assemble it, simply indicate on the order form that you want your mum assembled. We’ll do it for you for an additional cost. Order early to secure an assembly spot, as this option may become unavailable as Homecoming approaches due to high demand.
What deadlines and dates do I need to be aware of? Whether purchasing a kit as an individual or as a member of a group, product choices are available as long as supplies last, so order early!
Boerne
- August 20th: We recommend ordering by this date for the best selection, as options for ribbons, trinkets, braids, and chains will become increasingly limited as Homecoming approaches. This is also the deadline to request a website listing and secure 10% off for groups of 8 or more.
- August 27th: Deadline for groups to finalize decisions on custom-designed trinkets and group-specific order form requests. (Contact us at hillcountrymumkits@gmail.com for more information.)
- August 31st: Early orders will be available for pickup.
- September 6th: The fee for assembling your mum will increase. This option may be discontinued based on order volume.
- September 11th: Pickup week for your kits! You will receive an email with details after you place your order. If you need your kit sooner or can’t make our pickup events, please contact us at hillcountrymumkits@gmail.com to make alternate arrangements.
Comfort

Can I order a mum/garter kit now and add a Homecoming date’s name later? Yes, you can. Contact us at hillcountrymumkits@gmail.com to send us the name when you have it. You can pick up and pay for the additional name sticker at one of our pickup times.

What is your refund and cancellation policy? As a small business dedicated to creating and fulfilling orders in a timely manner, we are unable to offer refunds or accept cancellations once an order has been placed. Each kit is carefully prepared to meet your specifications, and your understanding helps us maintain the quality and commitment our customers expect. If you have any concerns about your order, please contact us, and we will do our best to assist you.
Where do I order a Champion Mum? We don’t carry Champion mum kits because the Champion Charms (dance team) offers kits as a fundraiser. You can you go to their website:https://www.boernechampioncharms.com/ or instagram page @chs_charms for more information.

Boerne Aquatics: When the Booster Club decided to shift from individual team fundraisers to overall sports fundraisers, the swim team's mum kit fundraiser was no longer approved. In response, we transformed mum kits from a fundraiser into a small business, continuing our support for the swim community during the 2024 season. As the Aquatics Department develops its new Water Polo team, we hope the donations we raise will provide additional support as they work to build a strong Aquatics program.
