What is different about Hill Country Mum Kits? We offer a high-quality, low-cost alternative for individuals, teams, friend groups, and moms to create memories while building Homecoming mums. Our DIY kits provide premium-quality elements without the hassle—no bulk buying and no wasted time, just everything you need in one place.
How does ordering work?
- Choose your school.
- Select the type of kit you want.
Our order form will guide you through purchasing your mum or garter kit, detailing what is included and offering optional add-ons for an additional cost.
Hosting a mum-making party with 8+ people? Email us at hillcountrymumkits@gmail.com, and we’ll add your group to our website. This way, your friends can order directly from the site and receive a 10% discount. No need to collect money from the group—we'll handle everything through the site!
What if I am not crafty? If you want an affordable, quality mum with custom supplies but don’t have the time or patience to shop or assemble it, simply indicate on the order form that you want your mum assembled. We’ll do it for you for an additional cost. Order early to secure an assembly spot, as this option may become unavailable as Homecoming approaches due to high demand.
What deadlines and dates do I need to be aware of? Whether purchasing a kit as an individual or as a member of a group, product choices are available as long as supplies last, so order early!
Boerne
- July 31st: Deadline to reserve a spot for a custom homecoming mum at a discount.
- August 15th: Deadline to secure 10% off for groups of 8 or more and to confirm details for your group’s order form. (Contact us at hillcountrymumkits@gmail.com for more information.)
- August 22nd:
- We recommend ordering by this date for the best selection, as options for ribbons, trinkets, braids, and chains will become increasingly limited as Homecoming approaches.
- Confirm final details for custom mum reservations
- August 29th: Assembled Mum orders placed after the 6th will incur a $10 increase in the assembly fee.Due to time constraints, assembled mum orders are limited and accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
- September 6th: Order Deadline
Champion

- We recommend ordering by this date for the best selection, as options for ribbons, trinkets, braids, and chains will become increasingly limited as Homecoming approaches. This is also the deadline to request a website listing and secure 10% off for groups of 8 or more.
- Confirm final details for custom mum reservations
- October 10th:
- Groups must finalize decisions on custom-designed trinkets and group-specific order form requests. (Contact us at hillcountrymumkits@gmail.com for more information.)
- Assembled Mums: Orders placed after the 6th will incur a $10 increase in the assembly fee.Due to time constraints, assembled mum orders are limited and accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
- October 18th: Order Deadline
What if I don’t know whether I need a mum for my daughter or garter for her date (or vice versa, garter for my son or mum for his date?) New this year! Reservations: When you purchase a reservation, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a code. This code must be entered at checkout when you place your actual order to apply your $35 credit. (Mark your calendar to ensure you get your order in by the deadline) ⚠️ Important: If you forget to use your code at checkout, we cannot apply the discount afterward or issue a refund. Sales tax will be charged on reservation purchases.

What is your refund and cancellation policy? As a small business dedicated to creating and fulfilling orders in a timely manner, we are unable to offer refunds or accept cancellations once an order has been placed. Each kit is carefully prepared to meet your specifications, and your understanding helps us maintain the quality and commitment our customers expect. If you have any concerns about your order, please contact us, and we will do our best to assist you.

Love Kendall County Kids
Money received from the purchase of the Cross and Horseshoe ribbons will go directly to Love Kendall County Kids. In addition, we are committed to providing homecoming mum kits to high school students from families experiencing financial hardship, ensuring they can participate in this cherished tradition alongside their peers. Eligibility is based on the Love Kendall County Kids criteria and requires signing up through their program. Learn more about Love Kendall County Kids.

Why Boerne Aquatics? What began as a swim team fundraiser has grown into a small business, and we’re proud to continue supporting the Aquatics community during the 2025 season. Now in its second year, the Water Polo team is gaining momentum, and we hope the donations we raise from the Paw Print ribbon will help strengthen and grow the overall Boerne High School Aquatics program.
